Which Bank or Mortgage Company Offers the Best Loan Package for First Time Home Buyers?

The one who offers minimal interest and does not require a downpayment, if not minimal.
Also, in case of an above minimal downpayment, where can I get a downpayment and closing cost loan?
I have excellent credit and my wife and I both work as nurses. We bought a new car with cash thus we used up our savings supposedly for downpayment.

None of our answers matter because each have their own programs and they have to take into account your financial picture. It would be best to talk with local lenders, and then work with a Realtor to help you find your first home. Don’t think that skipping steps will save you anything.
