I think this is not a fair extension! The income limits were increased therefore previous buyers that exceeded the income on the first home buyers credit also can not qualify for the extension due to the time of purchase. Also to make this fair the income limits should not have gone up but stayed the same.
So what is the incentive for a first time buyer to purchase a home in the USA if you can not even get any of the credits!

I closed on October 312009 and already own a house for about 10 years. I get nothing because I bought 8 days before the bill. We don’t live in a free country anymore. The federal government takes money from people and gives it to other people as they see fit. We need to change the name of this country because this is no longer the United States of America.
